We like Cheapflights (http://www NULL.cheapflights NULL.co NULL.uk), if only for their taste in hiking trails. They’ve recently announced their top ten across the world. Pembrokeshire came in top of the list
.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path
The reviewers explained the many & varied delights of Pembrokeshire Coast Path in one short paragraph:
Along the limestone cliffs, weaving in and out of sandy beaches and fishing villages, is the 186-mile-long Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The entire trail is considered a “formidable challenge” (St Dogmael’s to Newport Town is the most strenuous section) but there are several manageable trails of a couple of miles long. Along the path are dotted 2,000-year-old forts, burial grounds from 400 A.D. and a castle or two. Hotels, B&Bs and campsites offer a bed for the night (or space for a tent if you’re thinking of roughing it). Other residents along the way are foxes, seals, puffins and dozens of other animals.

We took the photo below on a walk from Dale. We were heading towards St Anne’s Head but looking back up the Haven.
