The wonderful Pembrokeshire Coast Path isn’t only for walkers. The stretch on our doorstep here at the farm is also open to cyclists, with a circular route taking in the Green Bridge of Wales, Stack Rocks and heading over to St Govan’s. Find other routes on the Cycle Pembrokeshire (https://www NULL.pembrokeshire NULL.gov NULL.uk/cycle-pembrokeshire) website:
- The Heritage Coast Trail (https://www NULL.pembrokeshire NULL.gov NULL.uk/cycle-pembrokeshire/cycle-pembrokeshire-heritage-coast-trail) is a full day circular route that runs near to the farm. 51 miles long, it takes in Pembroke, Manorbier, Bosherston and Angle.
Join at mile 31.7, at the cross roads just up the hill from the farm and continue on towards Freshwater West. - The Medieval Mystery Trail (https://www NULL.pembrokeshire NULL.gov NULL.uk/cycle-pembrokeshire/cycle-pembrokeshire-medieval-mystery-trail) and the Castle 2 Castle Trail (https://www NULL.pembrokeshire NULL.gov NULL.uk/cycle-pembrokeshire/cycle-pembrokeshire-castle-2-castle-trail) both take in Pembroke, so aren’t far away if you prefer a shorter circular route.
There’s also a range of quiet roads and cycle paths nearby. You’re welcome to borrow our copy of the Goldeneye Maps guide for 17 circular routes in Pembrokeshire and west Wales, including routes at Carew, Bosherston and one past our front door!
Bringing your own bike
We have plenty of outside storage for bikes here at the farm. Unfortunately, we can’t currently offer any undercover storage. Bring a tarp if your two wheeled steed needs protection from the weather.
Bike Hire
If you haven’t brought your own, you can hire a bike from Pembrokeshire Bike Hire. (https://pembrokeshirebikehire NULL.co NULL.uk/) They have online booking (booking well in advance is recommended, especially for busy periods) and have locations across the county including Pembroke and Manorbier. They also offer a delivery service direct to the farm.
With all our hills, you may want to consider their electric bikes!
