Well, the excitement is over, the dives have been judged and the winner announced. And it was a win for Brit Gary Hunt.
According to the Red Bull website, Gary was determined to win last weekend. Not just because he wants to win the series (for the fourth time, no less). Not just because it’s the first place he cliff dived competitively. But also because the Blue Lagoon is his favourite stop on the Red Bull tour.
But Gary wasn’t the only successful Brit: all three UK participants made it into the eight-man final for the first time (well done to Mat Cowen & Blake Aldridge, who placed fifth & seventh last weekend) in front of a crowd of 5,500 supporters.
