Britain’s best beaches

It’s official: Pembrokeshire has more fabulous beaches than any other part of the UK.

This year’s Seaside Awards (with standards equivalent to Yellow & Blue Flag beaches for rural beaches & ones with a wider range of facilities) have been announced, and Wales has again received 75% of the Awards across the UK – three times as many as the whole of the rest of Britain.

As always, Pembrokeshire has had an excellent result, with the following beaches being awarded a flag this year – the largest number for any county in Wales:
