Does your family insist on having a big bowl of citrus fruit at Christmas that never gets more than a light dent? Our does. Oranges, mandarins, limes, but overwhelmingly, lemons. All left to harden & dry out as thay are ignored in favour of turkey, mince pies and the ubiquitous tins of chocolates.
Well, this year, we decided not to let them suffer this fate & boiled up a lovely large pan of marmalade that will see us well into the summer. A fitting fate for otherwise forlorn fruit.
